Enough With the Rain...

Hope everyone is staying more dry than we are.  Progress has been pretty good lately as the walls are painted and the tile should be finished by tomorrow.  The electrician is wiring the outlets, switches, etc.  If it would only dry out enough for me to do some grade work around the house, then we could get the heat pump up and running to acclimate the pine flooring and begin that install.  Also, the kitchen cabinets will hopefully be ready in a couple of weeks.

Hallway.
Downstairs bath.

Dennis Suite.
Fireplace rock.  That's Alan the mason.

Kitchen tile
Living room.

Alex's room.  He wanted two gray walls and two orange walls.
Kennedy's room.  Pink, of course.

Kids bath.  Going to have a shower curtain with a huge tree print on it so the ceiling will look like the top of the tree.

Upstairs hall.

Master shower.
Here's whats left on the roof install.  Its been like this for about a month now.  I keep getting "as soon as it dries up, we'll get it".

And now the fun part...

Sweet!  This is what the basement looks like every 2-3 hours.  The water mark on the 6x6's is what happens at about 4-5 hours, which is about waist deep at the deepest point.  Last night I drove to the house every 2 hours to pump it down.  Looks like I'll be doing it tonight as well.

Pump discharge.  It only takes the pump about 15 minutes to pump it down.

Creek's full.

Possibly a Class II ??  I need footage of someone running it in a kayak.

  1. Looking good, minus the swimming pool in the basement. Better have some work for us next weekend!
